Summary:
Sequence analysis has identified EutH as a membrane protein [Stojiljkovic95] with 11 transmembrane helices [Kofoid99]. Although a possible ethanolamine transport function for EutH has been suggested [Stojiljkovic95], further studies have shown the eutH gene does not have a mutant phenotype, and is not believed to be an ethanolamine transporter [Kofoid99].
